Halloween at Brookleigh Farm

Pumpkin and Halloween Trail at Brookleigh Farm

The clocks have changed, and the nights are drawing in. The last few weeks have treated us to some glorious Autumn Sunshine, catching the rays before they disappear into the winter darkness.

Half-term has been and passed, and Brookleigh Pumpkins was incredibly busy as we opened the patch to the public for the 4th pumpkin and Halloween festival. If you didn’t know about our seasonal extravaganza, Brookleigh Pumpkins has become a family staple, a family tradition and a brilliant place to celebrate all things autumn at the end of October!

The Pumpkin patch begins in April when we plant the seeds, prepare the land and for the rest of the summer, we are consumed by nurturing and tending to our crop so we can celebrate in October with gorgeous globes of orange pumpkins ready for Halloween… an essential for Trick or Treating.

By October, we have cultivated enough pumpkins from very small Munchkins to Very Large GIANT pumpkins for our customers. It’s incredible to see the joy this brings to young and old and we love seeing you all have your photos on the photo stops!

Don’t forget the refreshments! Our Pop-up ‘Monster Mummy’ Cafe offers hot and cold drinks and is brimming full of homemade cakes. It quenches thirst and refuels before you head down the farm track to the spooky Halloween Trail.

Watch out for Thrills and Spills in the trail, from the dancing witches, the Giant Grim Reaper and the secret star of the show…. The jumping spider…. Who will spook you??!

Every year the Trail is different, Now the Reaper has appeared he refuses to leave and at 10 feet tall, I’m not going to argue with him! The trail is family-friendly, interactive, entertaining and perfect for making those special memories with your tribe! You will hear laughter, squeals of delight and screams of pure Halloween joy as you visit the ghouls. Enough spoilers… come and visit!
